Capital management is a critical component of a bank’s financial health and long-term growth strategy. This course provides essential knowledge on capital planning and mergers & acquisitions (M&A), equipping future leaders with the tools to make informed financial decisions that drive sustainable growth and stability.

This course will provide an overview of M&A activity and the trends in deal pricing, deal provisions and key negotiating areas that have emerged in recent deals, and a summary of the preferred deal structures and potential issues that any buyer or seller must consider when structuring a M&A transaction. The course will cover the regulatory process for obtaining approvals, with a special focus on recent timelines, special areas of concerns flagged by regulators in recent transactions and special term and conditions that have been imposed by regulators.
