7 Class Hours

Instructors: Dave Linaburg, Dan Johnson and Doris Rigoni

Why this course is important:

This course is designed for bankers with lending experience and regulators with credit review experience. The format encourages peer learning, allowing students to share their expertise while learning from one another. Each case study will be led by a faculty member with subject-matter expertise.

Students will work in teams to analyze real-world credit scenarios, identifying challenges, strengths and potential issues. Teams will make decisions related to structure, covenants and monitoring, then present and explain their credit recommendations to the class. Discussions will focus on three distinct credit types: commercial (C&I), commercial real estate and agricultural lending.
