This course introduces community bankers to the core concepts of data analytics using tools already at their fingertips, primarily Microsoft Excel.* Starting with foundational skills and advancing to practical applications, students will work through real-world banking examples to build confidence in analyzing and automating data processes. Whether you’re new to Excel or looking to sharpen your skills, this course will support your growth as a data-informed leader in your institution.

*Students will need access to Microsoft Excel and a laptop for this course. The class will focus heavily on using Excel to analyze data, including functions like PivotTables, Power Query, and Power Pivot. Access to the Get & Transform tools (Power Query and Power Pivot) is recommended, though not required, to fully explore Excel’s automation capabilities.
