Melissa Buck joined the UMB Bank, N.A. Capital Markets Division in 2021 as senior vice president. Melissa’s primary focus is on UMB Bank’s continued growth in the state of Colorado and the Western United States.

Melissa has more than 10 years of public finance experience. Prior to joining UMB Bank, Melissa served clients as a lead municipal advisor at Ehlers & Associates where she provided financial and debt planning advice to local governments and quasi-municipal entities. During this time, she was involved in transactions with approximately $700 million in par value. Melissa also held positions with Wells Fargo, Macquarie Capital, Assured Guaranty, Public Financial Management and the U.S. Department of State. Melissa is a member of Women in Public Finance and has spoken at several industry events.

Melissa received her Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania and Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews. Melissa holds the FINRA Series 52 license.
