Dr. Laura Belsten is the president of CEO Partnership, an international executive coaching firm and leadership development consultancy headquartered in Denver, Colorado. She is also the president & CEO of the Institute for Social + Emotional Intelligence, an international research and learning institution devoted to teaching, coaching, and supporting executives develop their social + emotional intelligence skills. She has been on the faculty of the University of Denver for 23 years teaching graduate courses in leadership and communication. Dr. Belsten earned her PhD in Human Communication, with an emphasis in Leadership & Organizational Communication from the University of Denver in 1996.

She holds a master’s degree (1981) and a bachelor’s degree (1976) in psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. She is also a Master Certified Coach (2005) through the International Coach Federation, the highest level of certification which can be earned in the professional coaching industry. She has been coaching executives in her private coaching practice for over 15 years.
