Jerry Beers is an AVP Finance – Investment/Funding Manager (Treasury Group) at Fishback Financial Corporation (FFC), which is a two-charter holding company located in Brookings, SD with $2.9 billion (2018) in total assets and more than 20 banking locations in eastern South Dakota and western and central Minnesota. His current responsibilities include the management of the combined $325.0 million (2018) investment portfolios and $595.0 million (2018) of various wholesale funding balances, and the coordination of the corporate Investment Committee and each bank’s asset liability committee. Jerry has been with FFC since 1998, and in his current role with the company since 2004.

Prior to joining FFC he worked in public and corporate accounting positions. He is a 1990 graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration – Finance and Accounting. He is also a 2004 alumnus of the Graduate School of Bank Investments and Financial Management, offered through the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.

Jerry is an active college and high school football and high school basketball official, currently serving as a Regional Basketball Officials Coordinator for the South Dakota High School Activities Association. He also served as an original board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Brookings, when the new club was established in the community in 2003.
