Erica Preston is an executive leader with 25 years of banking and operations experience who is passionate about serving her community and developing future leaders. She began her banking career as a part-time teller in college and worked her way up through multiple leadership roles to become the chief operating officer at Chambers Bank. Erica recently joined Simmons Bank as the director of market development, launching their new business banking initiative in the northwest Arkansas market.

Preston received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Erica has overseen a variety of banking areas including retail banking, digital banking, call center operations, product development, sales, business development, business banking, treasury management, human resources, accounting and deposit operations functions.

Preston has volunteered in many different capacities over the years and currently serves on the Sunshine School and Development Center Board of Directors and the Junior Achievement of Arkansas State Board of Directors. She chairs fundraising events for both non-profit groups and serves on the Junior Achievement Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
