Prior to joining TIB in October of 1996, Dave Linaburg already had more than twenty years of experience in the banking and mortgage banking industries. His first assignment at TIB was to revamp the Bank’s Residential Mortgage Department.

Under Mr. Linaburg’s leadership, the department became one of TIB’s cornerstone services, providing significant contributions to the bank’s profits, as well as sending millions of dollars in revenue sharing to TIB’s customers each year. He was elevated to Executive Vice President in
2005.

In addition to his responsibilities as Chief Risk Officer, Mr. Linaburg oversees the TIB’s Mortgage Division, Credit Administration Department, Loan Operations and Capital Markets Sales. He serves on TIB’s Executive Management Team as well as its Board of Directors. Mr. Linaburg is a past chairman of the Risk Management Association (RMA) of North Texas and is a frequent
speaker at banking, capital markets and mortgage-related conferences and symposiums, including the Southwest Graduate School of Banking, the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado, and the Bank CEO Network. He earned a BS in Economics and Political Science from
Frostburg State College in Maryland. He and his wife reside in Allen, Texas.
