Dan Johnson is the president & CEO of State Bank & Trust Co. (SBT) in Nevada, Iowa. SBT is a $225 million dollar bank located in Central Iowa and is part of the Ames National Corporation (NASDAQ – ATLO). Dan has led the SBT lending team serving as senior lender and took over as President & CEO on January 1, 2023.

Dan grew up in rural Northwest Iowa and has an Ag Business Degree from Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!). He is active in the Nevada Community where he and his wife, Carla, reside with their two children, Nate and Caitlin. They enjoy spending time together with outdoor activities/sporting events, school activities and traveling.
