Brent Klanderud is retired from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) after serving in several capacities over his 39 year career. He spent the majority of his FDIC career involved in community bank oversight within the Division of Risk Management Supervision. This segment of his career culminated with serving as the Field Supervisor for the Omaha, Nebraska, territory until February 2020 when he joined the FDIC’s Office of the Ombudsman until February 2024.

Brent graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and from the GSBC Class of 1999. He currently serves as a regulator for the school’s Bank Management Simulation course.
