Andy Marshall is the CEO, president and director of FirstBank Southwest in Amarillo, Texas, a $1.3B community bank serving the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles and DFW Metroplex.
Marshall earned a BS in Business/Management from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Mississippi. He’s active in both community and industry groups and activities. While very involved in the Texas Bankers Association, a past member of its board and a panelist on the bi-weekly TBA Executive Management Zoom Calls, he is also a member of the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business Excellence in Banking Program’s Banking Advisory Council.
Andy is on the board of the United Way of Amarillo and Canyon and is a past chairman of the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball and the Golden Spread Council’s Good Scout Luncheon. An active duty veteran of both the US Army and US Air Force, he spent his career in commercial banking management positions in regional and super regional banks prior to assuming his current position as a community bank CEO in 2017. He and his wife, Denise, are now empty-nesters, with son Sam, a commercial banker in Texas, daughter Maggie, a teacher in Mississippi and daughter Amy, a stay-at-home mom in Alabama.
