GSBC Peer Groups: Collaboration and Insight
One of GSBC’s intersession projects is completed by members of each peer group. This project is an opportunity for collaboration and peer learning. The groups’ first task last fall was to agree on a topic. This can be a common problem facing each of their organizations, or an area they want to learn more about as a group.

Strategic Topic Projects Position Community Banks for the Future
This is the annual analysis of topics identified by rising third-year GSBC students for their strategic projects. Through this exercise, students are tasked with working with their bank’s leadership to identify an important issue facing the bank or industry. The key to this project is to identify actionable recommendations for the bank to respond.

Robb to Represent Missouri on GSBC Board of Trustees
GSBC is pleased to welcome Dan Robb, president and CEO of Jonesburg State Bank, to its board of trustees. Robb has more than 35 years of banking experience, having started his career in 1985 as a bank teller. Looking Back to Look Forward: A Renewed Perspective on GSBC’s Strategic Plan
GSBC’s Board of Trustees and Alumni Advisory Board took a unique approach to their fall meetings in November by learning about George Washington’s and other historical figures’ approaches to leadership. The sessions were held at the George Washington Leadership Institute in Mt. Vernon, Virginia.
