The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado’s (GSBC) 74th Annual School Session, taking place July 13-25 in Boulder, Colo., will focus on leveraging community banking’s roots to embrace adaptability and community-driven innovation under the guiding theme, “Rooted for Growth: Cultivating Knowledge, Connections and Momentum.”
Throughout the session, the theme will serve as a unifying thread by supporting students in their classroom learning, deepening their personal and professional growth and challenging them to grow their own personal community of fellow community bankers. “Rooted for Growth” will serve as a lens for students to reflect on where they began, and how they’ll boldly help lead their organizations forward.
“Rooted for Growth is more than just a tagline,” said GSBC President & CEO Michael Stevens. “It embraces the transformative nature of the GSBC experience, one where community banking professionals gain the connections, knowledge and momentum to be bold leaders in their organizations and communities.”
Community banks are navigating significant shifts in regulation, technological advancement and evolving customer expectations. In response, and under the guidance of a community banker-led Board of Trustees, GSBC has thoughtfully curated a session that emphasizes the importance of developing not only technical expertise, but also adaptability, confidence and purpose for the future.
