The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC) has recently elected bankers to leadership roles for the Board of Trustees.
Machelle Connally-Van Trump, executive vice president and chief lending officer, Citizens State Bank & Trust Co., Ellsworth, to its Board of Trustees.
Connally-Van Trump’s banking career spans 31 years. She is active in the Kansas Bankers Association (KBA), serving on its Board of Directors from 2013-2016, graduating from its Bank Leaders of Kansas program in 2008 and the Kansas/Nebraska Schools of Banking Agricultural Lending School in 1994.
Her community service includes board involvement with the First Presbyterian Church, USD 327 Ellsworth High School Site Council, Ellsworth County Chamber of Commerce, Smoky Hill Development Corporation and Ellsworth Elementary School PTO.
Connally-Van Trump is a 2002 graduate of GSBC, and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Fort Hays State University. She succeeds Mike Stevens, chairman, Centera Bank, Sublette, on the GSBC Board of Trustees.
Mark Taylor, assistant regional director, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Dallas, to its Board of Trustees.
Taylor’s banking career spans 30 years. He first earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Tyler and completed the Graduate Banking School of South program at Louisiana State University.
He currently oversees the risk management supervisory program for the states of Colorado and New Mexico, representing 113 insured institutions. Taylor was a former vice chair and member of the FDIC’s Course Oversight Group which governs the FDIC’s examiner education programs.
Taylor succeeds Susan Zubradt, senior vice president, Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Kansas City, Missouri as an advisor to the GSBC Board of Trustees.
