She currently chairs the Education Committee for the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) and previously chaired its Financial Services Subcommittee. Additionally, she serves as an advisory board member for the Community Bank Advisory group to the State of Minnesota Commerce Department, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Recently, she joined the board of TCM Bank, a subsidiary of ICBA, which services credit card portfolios for community banks. Drentlaw has been a member of the GSBC Alumni Advisory Board since 2022.
“Anita is the product of a classic community banking story leading a family-owned bank,” said GSBC President & CEO Michael Stevens. “Her commitment to community banking in Minnesota and nationally makes her an excellent choice to lead this important board.”
Drentlaw succeeds Quentin Leighty, chief financial officer and president of First National Bank in Colorado, as chair of GSBC’s Alumni Association and will serve as the alumni advisor to the GSBC Board of Trustees.
