Susana Salamun is the Head of Staff Development at Alpine Bank. She acts as the strategic and administrative leader of Alpine Bank’s ongoing efforts to help its employees reach their highest potential and growth in the organization.

Born and raised in Mexico, Susana holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. While in Mexico, Susana worked as a computer science professor. She moved to Colorado in 2012 and transitioned her career from engineering to banking. She has worked in the areas of electronic banking, compliance, information technology, inclusion and engagement and staff development for Alpine Bank. In 2024, Susana completed Graduate School of Banking in Colorado with the outstanding achievement of Committed to Lead micro-credential.  In 2024, she was awarded 40 Under 40 from Denver Business Journal, and Banker of Distinction with Colorado Bankers Association.

Susana puts her leadership and interpersonal skills to work in the company and the community.  She is passionate about self-learning, self-motivation, collaboration, coaching, communication, development, leadership, time management and adaptability.
