Susie Koranda began her banking career with Security Bank as a customer service representative in 1997. She currently serves as executive vice president and is a member of Security Bank’s board of directors.
Koranda is a 2003 honors graduate of GSBC and a 2015 graduate of GSBC’s Executive Development Institute for Community Bankers®. She graduated from the Nebraska Bankers Association (NBA) Leadership Program in 2006. She is still involved with the NBA, serving on its Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association Board of Trustees and their Education Advisory Committee. She has previously served on the NBA Board of Directors and BankPac. On a national level, Susie served on the American Bankers Association BankPac Committee.
Locally, Koranda has served on the Laurel Chamber of Commerce, the St. Mary’s Parish Council and Finance Committee, the Laurel Recreation Board, the Laurel Rescue Squad, the Teammates Board and the Haven House Board of Directors. She was also the head girls’ basketball coach at Laurel-Concord Highschool (now Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Highschool) from 1998 to 2004.
