GSBC welcomed two new members to its Alumni Advisory Board at its meeting on July 21, 2024. The new members include GSBC Alumni Joshua Juergensen ‘14 (representing Minnesota) and Adam Rainey ’15 (representing Missouri).

Joshua Juergensen, Minneapolis, Minn.

Joshua Juergensen is a principal and strategic leader in the Financial Services Group at Minneapolis, Minn.-based CliftonLarsonAllen LLC (CLA). Since joining CLA in 2007, he has dedicated his career to serving community banks nationwide, specializing in certified audits, internal audits, loan file reviews and other consulting services.

In addition to his primary role, Juergensen plays a key part in CLA’s digital service line, spearheading initiatives to bring innovative digital solutions to community banks. He is a regular speaker at banking industry events across the country and serves as an instructor at various Independent Community Bankers Association events throughout the year.

Adam Rainey, Advance, Mo.

Adam Rainey is the executive vice president and senior lender for The Bank of Advance, headquartered in his hometown of Advance, Mo. Beginning his career at the bank in 1998 as a part-time teller, Rainey has gained comprehensive experience across various areas of the institution, with a particular focus on lending, credit and bank management.

A 2005 graduate of Missouri State University, Rainey joined the bank’s board of directors in 2008. He furthered his education by graduating with honors from GSBC in 2015. In 2021, he served as the Missouri Bankers Association Young Bankers Leadership Chair.

“I am excited to welcome Josh and Adam to the Alumni Advisory Board,” said GSBC Vice President of Strategy & Experience Josie Bunch. “They will bring important industry insights and experience to the group and exemplify leadership in the community banking space in the states they represent.
