Rachael Thompson began her career in banking over 15 years ago at a community bank in Colorado where she started as a loan officer.  Rachael joined the Colorado Division of Banking in 2010 as a Financial Credit Examiner, quickly moving up to Senior Financial Credit Examiner III and was soon promoted to the Scheduler.  In her current role, she is responsible for creating the schedule of examinations and coordinating with State Chartered community banks on the logistics of upcoming examinations as well as helping out on exams when needed.

Rachael holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Colorado State University and is a 2023 Honors graduate of GSBC.
