Jennifer Jones is a native of Greer, SC. Jennifer joined CBL in 2000 as a loan officer and administrative assistant after graduating from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. In January 2017, after earning positions of increasing responsibility, she was selected to be the first woman and only the ninth president and CEO of the 111-year-old organization.
Jennifer has successfully completing both the South Carolina Banking School and GSBC. She is an active member of the South Carolina Bankers Association, which named her Outstanding Young Banker for 2016. She served as chairman of the association’s Young Bankers Division and is currently member of both its board of directors and state legislative committee. She also serves on the Greer Chamber of Commerce Executive Board of Directors and the Greers Partnership for Tomorrow Economic Development Board of Directors.
Not limiting her time to professional organizations, Jennifer has served on the board of directors of and delivered meals for Greer Community Ministries and has volunteered to work on Habitat for Humanity projects. She has also served in leadership positions for both her local elementary school and church.
Jennifer and her husband Walden have a son, Carter (15), and a daughter, Eliza (12).
